ARTURO CASTRO M.D, FACE, ECNU
Dr. Castro is a highly trained physician with expertise in Endocrinology. He received his Medical Degree from The University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship of Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
He is board certified in both, Internal Medicine, and Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism. He holds an Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound (ECNU) by The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist. He has expertise in performing Thyroid Ultrasounds and Thyroid Biopsies in the office. He is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE). He regularly attends national and international endocrine conferences to ensure he provides his patients with the best of care catering to their individual needs by remaining at the forefront of clinical advances in the field.
Alicia Marie Coker Clinical Manager
Alicia is the Clinical Manager of Coastal Endocrinology and has obtained intricate experience in several medical specialties, including PM&R and cardiovascular medicine. She has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her education and has a continued interest in medical research. She will soon be applying to an MD program to pursue her doctorate degree upon finishing her Bachelor’s in Biology in Orlando. Alicia is additionally fluent in Russian and is studying Spanish.
Arlene Ferguson Medical Secretary
Arlene was born in Rockledge, FL and attended St. Augustine University. She worked for the Brevard County School District for 20 years before joining Coastal Endocrinology. Arlene is also a Certified High School Coach and enjoys coaching in her free time.
